June 2, 2026, was a historic day for LYNRED, held under the high patronage of the Minister of Industry and Energy, Mr. Sébastien Martin. In the presence of our co-shareholders Safran and Thales, representatives of the government, and our institutional partners—the CEA, the DGA (Directorate General of Armaments), the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, and the University of Grenoble Alpes—we inaugurated the Infrared Campus in the municipality of Veurey-Voroize, near Grenoble.

🔹 €100 million invested in a state-of-the-art industrial facility unique in Europe: 8,000 square meters of cutting-edge cleanrooms, production capacity doubled by 2030, and and numerous jobs created in service of the industrial sovereignty of France and Europe.

🔹 40 years of expertise and innovation: from defense to space, including the environment and autonomous vehicles, our infrared detectors push the boundaries of what is possible. Seeing by day, by night, on Earth, and from space—that has been LYNRED’s commitment for 40 years.

🔹 A key step towards reducing our carbon footprint, with infrastructures allowing for a 30% increase in energy efficiency, numerous charging stations for cars and bicycles, and a green space with many newly planted trees.

"This Infrared Campus is much more than an increase in production capacity: it is a symbol of our collective ambition for a sovereign, competitive, and sustainable Europe” said Hervé Bouaziz, Executive President of LYNRED.
A big thank you to all our partners, clients, and teams for their trust and commitment:
